About St. Albert
St. Albert the Great is a Christ-centered community of Disciples dedicated to inspiring people to love, serve, and know God and one another. Through our ministries, events, and programs our parish works to offer a dynamic, Christ-centered community that thrives on our shared Roman Catholic faith.

Located in Louisville, KY off Westport Road, St. Albert the Great Catholic Community has become a pillar of the East End since its founding in 1959. With over 4500 parishioners, St. Albert continues to grow and serve. From our Parish School, to community-wide events such as our annual Fish Fry and Summer Picnic, as well as our numerous ministries, charity organizations, and social groups, St. Albert the Great truly seeks to share and show Christ’s love in everything we do! We are dedicated to sharing the legacy of our patron saint, educator and scientist St. Albertus Magnus (or St. Albert the Great, 1206-1280) through this mission.
