In addition to our excellent academic programs and extensive athletic offerings, we have a diverse selection of extracurricular activities to offer our students.

Quick Recall
This is a great way for students to play a fun, fast-moving game while competing against other schools in the Catholic Schools Academic League (CSAL).  It is a fact-based, Jeopardy style game which showcases an age appropriate book and questions from astronomy to zoology.  Open to students 4th grade and up.

Safety Patrol
Students volunteer to keep all our students safe as the official "Safety Patrol" of our school.  Responsible students, grades 4th and up, are selected to work our morning and afternoon carpool routines.  Safety patrollers direct traffic flow, move cones, and maintain the student barrier.

Student Government
Members of our student government body show their interest in the program at the beginning of the year by writing a brief essay and submitting their self-nomination.  Students who meet the criteria are then selected at the opening All-School Liturgy.  Meetings are held monthly and students represent St. Albert through various means - tours, open house, and Catholic School Week liturgy.

The Viking Voice
The Viking Voice is St. Albert's student created newspaper.  Students in fifth grade are required to write at least two articles a year for the newspaper as part of their English class. Also, a small group of sixth graders write for the paper and meet after school to work on layout and publishing tasks.  These sixth graders are taught to use Microsoft Publisher while developing their advanced feature articles.  Next year, this after school club will include sixth and seventh graders.  Click on the link to view this year's issues of the Viking Voice.
